Description

In this health care focused webinar, we take a look at the use of emerging technologies in health care and their impact on the quality of patient outcomes. We focus specifically on the issue of diagnostic error and how recent developments in technology can be used to improve diagnostic accuracy. We also assess the role of the captive in predictive analysis of claims and other patient data, such as re-admission rates. Topics covered include:

  • Trends in diagnostic errors
  • Clinical decision support systems and diagnostic accuracy
  • The emergence and use of artificial intelligence in health care
  • Predictive analysis in medical malpractice claims and patient outcome data
  • How captives are fostering technology advances

This webinar concludes with several examples of how captives have become catalysts for the use of clinical decision support systems to improve diagnostic accuracy and outcomes performance. The webinar is suitable for all current and prospective health care liability captive owners and advisors.
