Allan Autry, Tax Partner, Johnson Lambert. Allan has twelve years of experience providing tax and consulting services to the insurance industry, with a focus on alternative risk entities, especially captive insurance companies. Allan has assisted clients with a myriad of tax issues over the years, including special calculations, tax planning, corporate reorganizations, and mergers and acquisitions
Charles (Chaz) Lavelle, Partner, Dentons Bingham Greenebaum. Chaz regularly represents clients, including captives, before the IRS, and frequently speaks and writes on captive insurance topics. He has been elected to the Captive Review Hall of Fame and has received CICA’s “Distinguished Service Award” and VCIA’s “Service to the Captive Industry” award. Chaz was outside Tax Counsel for both Humana and Ocean Drilling in their captive insurance victories in the U.S. Court of Appeals.
