Strategic Risk Solutions (“SRS”), a provider of captive management and consulting services, announced today that Derek Bridgeman will be joining the firm’s European operations on 18th May 2020 as Managing Director. He will develop and lead the Risk Consulting Practice in Europe. Prior to joining SRS and since 2017 he has led the International Captive Advisory Practice at Marsh. In addition to his risk finance advisory experience he spent over 10 years in Marsh’s captive management practice where he served a range of multinational captive owners and special purpose reinsurance entities. He also led Marsh’s EU Solvency II and BEPS initiatives.
Mr. Bridgeman will join the Board of SRS Europe which includes its pan-European branch offices.

As a further expansion of SRS Europe’s consulting operations Neil Campbell has joined the European consulting team and will focus primarily on the firm’s structured reinsurance consulting capabilities. Neil began his career with ICI’s insurance team in London. He was risk manager for Zeneca and AstraZeneca for 12 years, subsequently joining JLT as leader of their Global Life Science Practice before setting up his own consulting firm in 2014. Neil will support SRS Europe’s risk consulting around captive strategies and complex reinsurance options.
